One day workshop
Introduction to Internal Family Systems
A one day experiential workshop for therapists, counsellors, and health professionals.
This live online workshop offers a clear, compassionate introduction to the Internal Family Systems model and its application in therapeutic and wellbeing settings.
You will learn how to understand the inner world through an IFS informed lens, recognise protective parts, understand wounded parts, and begin working with the qualities of Self energy in ways that support safety, clarity, and compassion.
Friday 25th September 2026 • 9:30am – 4:30pm
A grounded introduction to IFS-informed practice.
Internal Family Systems offers a non pathologising way of understanding human experience. Instead of seeing symptoms, defences, or behaviours as problems to remove, IFS invites us to listen for the protective intention beneath them.
In this one day workshop, you will be introduced to the core principles of the model and how they may support trauma informed, compassionate, and clinically thoughtful practice.
The day includes teaching, guided reflection, live demonstration, and experiential exercises. The emphasis is on safety, pacing, clarity, and practical application.
